Unstoppable Mamelodi Sundowns heavily defeat Arrows to clinch MTN8 final spot

The MTN8 quarter final leg 2 of 2 is currently ongoing with Mamelodi Sundowns already in the final. Sundowns players were at their best tonight at Lucas Moripe stadium where they booted Golden Arrows out of MTN8 competition. Shalulile and Lunga both made it into the back of the net in the first half. Shalulile scored the opening goal just in the 4th minute of the match.

The second half was heated and both sides could not score a goal. Players from both sides tried to find the back of the net but it was all in vain. It was in additional minutes (90+4′) when Maema remarkably made it into the back of the net and sealed the match.

The match ended 3-0 with Masandawana clinching MTN8 final spot while Golden Arrows booted out of the competition. Mamelodi Sundowns currently await a team that will win tomorrow between Moroka Swallows and Cape Town City.
