Orlando Pirates come from behind to win three crutial points

Orlando Pirates played against Sekhukhune United today at Orlando Stadium. The buccanears came to today’s game not convincing, after only managing to win one game from their previous five.

However Sekhukhune United managed to win three of their last five games. The ghosts needed a win today to get closer to the log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns. It was not an easy game for the bucs, things got worse when they conceded a goal just before half time, a goal scored by Brandon Parusnath at 41 minutes.

The match went to half time with Sekhukhune United leading 1-0. The buccanears came to second half sharper trying to find an equaliser, which they got thanks to a penalty scored by Linda Mntambo at 76 minutes. A minute later at 77 minutes, Kabelo Dlamini scored a leading goal for Orlando Pirates. The match ended with Pirates winning 2-1.

Orlando Pirates and Sekhukhune United are now both equal with 14 points each, Sekhukhune at position five and Pirates at position 6.

Orlando Pirates are playing Kaizer Chiefs who lost to stellenbosch today on the 6th of November.
