Officially: Bayern Munich and Juventus qualified for the UEFA Champions League round of 16

Bayern Munich and Juventus both booked their spots in the UEFA Champions League knockout stages on Tuesday, with two group games to spare.

Robert Lewandowski scored a hat-trick on his 100th Champions League appearance on Tuesday. The hat-trick with other two goals from Gnabry and Sane propelled Bayern Munich to round of 16 as they sunk Benfica 5-2.

Juventus’s Paulo Dybala double came in handy as they thrashed Zenit 4-2. Juventus scored the other two goals through Chiesa and Morata while Zenit through Bonucci (OG) and Azmoun.

UEFA Champions League round of 16 will see Bayern Munich and Juventus fight so hard to knockout their opponents. The final of the competition is drawing closer as group stage matches advance.
