Bafana Bafana coach names final 23-man squad for Ethiopia

Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has named his 23-man squad for the upcoming FIFA Qatar 2022 World Cup against Ethiopia next month. Bafana Bafana face the East Africans in back-to-back matches on 9 October and 12 October. They will play the first leg in Ethiopia and the second leg at the FNB stadium. Percy Tau is out the 23-man squad due to injury.

South Africa is currently at the top of Group G with four points from two games and the coming two fixtures against Ethiopia will be critical if Bafana Bafana are to qualify for Qatar 2022. Here is the selected 23-man squad to face Ethiopia next month:

Goalkeepers: Ronwen Williams, Veli Mothwa, Bruce Bvuma.

Defenders: Nyiko Mobbie, Rushine De Reuck, Njabulo Ngcobo, Siyanda Xulu, Mosa Lebusa, Sifiso Hlanti, Terrence Mashego.

Midfielders: Mothobi Mavala, Teboho Mokoena, Yusuf Maart, Thabani Zuke, Ethan Brooks, Goodman Mosele.

Strikers: Evidence Makgopa, Victor Letsoalo, Thabiso Kutumela, Bongokuhle Hlongwane, Vincent Pule, Tshegofatso Mabasa.
